Activities Day 2 Morning
After breakfast and checkout, depart by road towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 4 hours through the Great Rift Valley, with beautiful views and optional photo stops along the way. On arrival, proceed with check-in and be warmly welcomed by the staff, then settle in and relax while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere and views off the surrounding environment. After a short rest head out to enjoy a guided game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, exploring its acacia forests, savannahs, and Soda Lake. They may spot rhinos, giraffes, zebras, lions, and flamingos, while the guide shares insights on the park's wildlife and conservation efforts. Later return to the lodge for dinner

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights, not to mention black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. And bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's a place of beautiful savannah landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees.

Mara Maisha Camp is your wonderful base for exploring the Masai Mara. When you stay here, you'll love the peaceful surroundings, and yet you're fewer than 5km from the reserve's Talek Gate. The rooms here have a refreshingly contemporary color scheme with white linens and light-wood furnishings. The pool has beautiful views, you can have a massage, and travelers speak highly of the bar and restaurant.

Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 6 hours through the rolling landscapes of the Rift Valley and rural Kenya, with picturesque views and brief stops along the way. On arrival, proceed with check-in and be warmly welcomed by the staff, then settle in and relax while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere and views off the surrounding environment. After a short rest, embark on an afternoon guided game drive in the Masai Mara. Explore its vast savannahs and riverine areas in search of the Big Five and other wildlife such as cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest. Enjoy photography opportunities and the golden hues of the savannah as the sun begins to set before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional for Day 3
Afternoon In the afternoon, guests may optionally visit a Maasai village at an extra cost to experience the traditional lifestyle and culture of the Maasai people. During the visit, they will learn about Maasai customs, traditional dress, beadwork, and ceremonies, while gaining insight into their close relationship with the land and wildlife.

Going on safari once in the Masai Mara is a privilege, but you get to return to this special place and enjoy it all over again. Come back for more time at Mara Maisha Camp your base camp for exploring the Mara.
Activities Day 4 All Day
Guests will enjoy a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara, exploring different areas of the park to experience its diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to riverine woodlands. Along the way, spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras, while your guide shares insights into the wildlife and their behaviors, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and excitement of the Mara. Around midday, they will have a picnic lunch near the Mara River, observing hippos, crocodiles, and birds, before continuing the afternoon game drive and later returning to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional for Day 4 Early Morning
Guests may opt for an early morning hot air balloon safari at an additional cost, enjoying stunning aerial views of the Maasai Mara at sunrise. This unforgettable experience must be booked in advance.

Afternoon in the evening guests may opt to enjoy an optional sundowner at an extra cost atop the savannah, sipping drinks while watching the sun set over the Maasai Mara's stunning landscapes, a perfect way to end the day. This unforgettable experience should be booked in advance.

Activities Day 5 Early Morning
After breakfast set out for an early morning game drive in the Maasai Mara, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. During the drive, they can spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and other animals in their natural habitats. After the morning adventure, guests will return to the camp for a hearty breakfast before continuing with the day's activities. Evening
After a short rest at the camp, guests will head out for an evening game drive in the Maasai Mara. This is a prime time to observe wildlife as animals become more active in the cooler hours. Guests may spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes, while the guide provides insights into their behavior and the ecosystem. The soft evening light also offers excellent photography opportunities before returning to the camp for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred by road from the Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi. Along the way, enjoy scenic stops at viewpoints to admire the rolling hills, vast landscapes, and the beauty of the Kenyan countryside, providing a relaxing end to your safari journey.
On arrival on arrival in Nairobi, take time for last-minute shopping at popular markets or malls. Browse for souvenirs like Maasai beadwork, handcrafted wooden items, Kenyan coffee and tea, and vibrant fabrics, while enjoying the lively local atmosphere before continuing your onward journey.
After the shopping excursion, proceed by road to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international flight marking the end of your Kenya safari adventure.
